Sakura

Sakura brings sushi and drinks together under an identity that works at both the table and the bar. The cherry blossom, clean-lined typography and contrast between black, red and warm backgrounds create a calm, recognisable presence with character for the evening setting.

Sakura Sushi & Copas visual identity with sushi and cherry blossoms

Concept

The cherry blossom gives the brand its Japanese reference.

The cherry blossom gives the name Sakura a recognisable shape and places the brand within its Japanese world. Its petals add a delicate gesture that contrasts with the clean, open structure of the logo. Generous letter spacing lets the name breathe and allows the symbol, typography and descriptor to read as a balanced composition, with a clear place for every element.

‘Sushi & Copas’—sushi and drinks—brings together the two sides of the project and guides the identity's character. Warm backgrounds accompany the food; black introduces a more intimate atmosphere associated with the bar and the evening. The red flower connects both moods and focuses attention on a detail that can carry across the brand, from menu to signage.

Sushi & drinks Understated elegance A Japanese accent

System

Spaced lettering and colour connect sushi with drinks.

Brand

The flower captures the Japanese reference and gives the brand a distinctive point of recognition. The name, set in spaced lettering, stays clear and legible; below it, the descriptor explains the sushi and drinks offering. The relationship between these three elements organises the signature and allows it to work across different sizes and proportions.

Tone

Sakura's character is built with a few elements and enough space for each to have a presence. Product photography sits alongside restrained compositions and delicate floral details. This balance complements the food presentation and sustains the bar atmosphere, providing visual continuity between both sides of the offering.

Colour

Charcoal black adds depth, warm backgrounds soften the composition and red marks the points of focus. Each colour has a specific role: creating atmosphere, improving legibility or highlighting a detail. By varying their proportions, the identity moves from a light menu to dark packaging without losing its connection to the flower.
